Find out more about the suppliers you’ll meet at our Wedding Open Day

18th Jan 2024

Due to us offering all couples a truly bespoke service with use of Birdsall House for the entire weekend, we only run one wedding open day a year. This year, we’ll be opening our doors on Sunday 4th February. So we can ensure we have ample time to show you around, we ask that you book ahead here.

You’ll get to meet Lady Cara Willoughby, and our Events Co-ordinator, Stephanie Erdal. A handful of our recommended suppliers will also be helping us dress the house for a wedding, providing tasty samples and unique activities. We like to keep the house roomy and spacious so you can get a real feel for it. That’s why we don’t have all of our recommended suppliers here on the day. It also means you’re not too overwhelmed with businesses!

Find out more about the different areas of the house and grounds by having a look at the brochure here.

But who can you expect to meet?

These passionate event florists base their creations on finds, foraging and British flowers and know every part of Birdsall House and our grounds really well. They are super friendly too!

If you’ve seen Netflix favourites, The Irregulars and Bridgerton, Gentleman Jack on BBC, or Little Birds on Sky Atlantic (to name a few), then you’ll have seen the floral design and installation of Kymm Queen. She did a stunning job on Rachel and Matt’s wedding here (captured by Anoif Photography) and we love her and her team’s flair and creativity. She’ll be adding her touch to the Oval Room, a space which can be used for drinks with a pianist or as an extension for the ballroom.

Styling Love

Natalie Pluck

Birdsall House recently featured in a ‘timeless and elegant’ feature in the prestigious online magazine, The Lane, a project led by the warm and talented wedding planner and stylist, Rebecca, of Styling Love. We’re delighted to be welcoming her back for our open day, giving you the chance to find out just how helpful a wedding planner and stylist can be and to let you hear how she can make your bespoke day reflect your own style and personality.

When Willow & Bear arrived with their bouquets for Chasidy on her big day, it was a truly emotional moment – they captured what she’d requested so beautifully! A joy for couples to work with, we’ve invited them along to our open day to work their magic on our ballroom.

Want something elegant and romantic for the day but need everyone up on the dance floor during the evening? Then you need to brief High Row Music. Sophia and Charlie (pictured) hired two bands through them and they were an amazing addition to the weekend. They have a huge roster of musicians from string quartets to rock bands so they’ll be able to find you the perfect entertainment solution – in fact, you can see for yourself as they’ll be bringing some live music with them to our open day.

El Kantina

Christopher Waud

Friendly and professional, couples love Christopher as much as his photos. Chasidy and Sam came a long way to marry here at Birdsall, so their photos had to capture their day perfectly. Christopher did just that with his beautiful, documentary style.

Moss Wedding Films

You may have seen Birdsall in his work so come and see him in situ and ask him all your videography questions! You can view Hannah and Chris’ wedding day at Birdsall here.

Of course, you’ll be able to view all of our different spaces. We’ll show you the house, the Church within our grounds and our luxurious bedrooms too. Please book a place for you and anyone accompanying you but feel free to arrive anytime between 11.00am and 3.00pm. We can’t wait to meet you!
