At Birdsall, we never have more than one wedding over a weekend. You get complete flexibility to use the house before, during and after the wedding with total exclusivity.
Many of our brides stay over the night before the wedding with their bridal party. They can be up bright and early with everyone in one place to get the celebrations started! Plus, having all the bridal party together in one place means you get to spend some extra time with the ones you love around you before the big day.

Everyone who stays over the weekend has use of the house and grounds. Our many rooms have previously been used to practice dancing and to relax before the big day. Some have even gone for a dip in the lake beforehand! Bride Sofia used the day before their wedding to have a mehndi party in the garden and made use of the very rare good Yorkshire weather.

If you’re looking for an opportunity for your close guests and families to mingle together before the big day, why not plan a meal in our dining room? Sharing food before the wedding helps everyone get to know each other and spend some special time with the couple. If the weather is good, why not get outside and make the most of it? We’re used to a spot of al fresco dining!
