Since the outbreak of Covid-19, businesses everywhere have had to adapt. It’s important to ensure we all meet social distancing requirements and can accommodate everyone safely. We are doing just that here at Birdsall House of course. As we announced in June, we now only offer two viewing appointments per day to ensure our guests can indulge in the full experience safely whether planning their wedding or a function.

We pride ourselves on our flexibility to accommodate your needs, more so now than ever. Wherever you decide to hold your ceremony, whether it be outside at the Temple with guests spaced around you in the open air or inside our newly-opened library to release your inner-Belle, Birdsall House can help shape your day to how you’d like.
We’re prepped and ready for anything! Even if that means moving the whole ceremony if guidelines continue to change in reaction to the situation. Yes, we know it’s unsettling to think that we may still be planning events in this way in 2021. Our flexibility means we can ensure you have a beautiful and inclusive day whatever the future may hold! Likewise, this way of working also really suits our unpredictable English weather!
We can tailor your day however you’d like. Traditional, modern, vintage, bohemian, rustic or glamourous, we can style each room to your choosing to help you achieve your dream. Our library could be the perfect setting to achieve an antique-vintage chic vibe. Or, maybe our Veranda could provide the perfect regal backdrop to your luxurious black-tie occasion.
Mr and Mrs Ashe, pictured below, gave a nod to the Groom’s military background as well as opting to use environmentally-friendly bubbles rather than confetti.

They made use of the outdoor space by bringing in giant garden games and entertainment for everyone. This kept guest occupied whilst photos were being taken. These simple touches made using the outdoor Veranda unique to them and allowed them to put their personal touch on their big day.

Hannah and Chris, pictured below, opted for a traditional wedding in St Mary’s Church but chose to have their reception in a marquee on the estate grounds. Their style was simple yet elegant, using gold confetti and decorating the marquee with delicate flowers and pastel shades.

Alternatively, you may opt for plenty of colour and floral confetti, as Mr and Mrs Vyse did below. It’ll make your day bright and summery, whatever style that best reflects your personalities!

Our newly-opened library allows anyone dreaming of that perfect Beauty and the Beast inspired moment to make it come to life. It can be used to create the perfect vintage-styled wedding. Or, you can use the library to provide the backdrop for an elegant, glamourous or traditional occasion.
