Birdsall House can offer a huge range of filming opportunities. We offer grand state rooms filled with period furniture to undecorated and rooms with peeling paint and faded glory for photo shoots. We also have estate villages and farm buildings set in a large amount of open land which is unspoilt and has no modern buildings or signs of modern life (streetlamps etc). Birdsall House and Estate offers a wide variety of beautiful Yorkshire filming locations.
We can offer actors accommodation and catering at Birdsall, and can help find further accommodation for cast and crew, as well as help find local suppliers for wedding and fashion photo shoots or filming. We are 20 miles north east of York, 5 miles south of Malton (our nearest train station) and an hour from Leeds. The fast train from London to York is under 2 hours.
