There is so much to do in the area around Birdsall. Malton is our nearest town, 5 miles north, which is the food capital of the north and hosts monthly food markets as well as the vibrant and popular annual Malton Food Festival.
The thriving town offers excellent restaurants, accommodation, a host of fantastic independent shops and plenty to keep people occupied such as the Rarebird Gin Distillery and school or Malton Cookery School.
Castle Howard (15 minutes) is well worth visiting or Dalby Forest (30 minutes) offers outdoor activities such as GoApe, Sedgeways or bike trails for all the family.
Eden Camp (15 minutes) is an award winning national army museum and Flamingo Land (30 minutes) is a well loved theme park and zoo for all ages.
The seaside towns of Scarborough and Bridlington are half an hour east and Whitby is about an hour away.
