Garden & Grounds
Set within the rolling Yorkshire Wolds, Birdsall’s Capability Brown designed gardens feature formal lawns, sweeping views, mature trees and tranquil lakes, creating a timeless and picturesque setting for celebrations.
The Old Kitchens
Hidden beneath the house, The Old Kitchens is an opulent, prohibition-style speakeasy with velvet textures, moody lighting and secret rooms, creating an intimate yet high-energy setting for celebrations, dancing and late-night revelry.
Dining Rooms
Birdsall offers two distinctive Dining Rooms, one is smaller and more intimate with views across the sweeping rear grounds, the other a larger, more formal space overlooking the front lawn. Both are beautifully unique, ideal for dinners and smaller events.
The Oval Room
The Oval Room is an elegant drawing room filled with family paintings and exquisite furniture. Soft light and graceful proportions suit intimate events and celebrations, while grand doors open into the Ballroom for larger gatherings.
Ballroom
The Ballroom is a light-filled and elegant space, ideal for larger events, receptions and seated dinners. The adjoining Oval Room can be utilised to create a generous and flowing setting for the celebration.

Birdsall
For corporate events, staying overnight at Birdsall offers the team a unique combination of ease, comfort and elegance. Langton Hall
Only two miles from Birdsall, Langton Hall offers the ideal nearby accommodation for larger groups. Set within stunning parkland, it can welcome up to 57 guests across a collection of charming cottages and rooms. With both indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, gym and hot tubs, it provides relaxation and comfort in equal measure. Cara was wonderful, her tour of her house was fascinating and the information she gave us to the history of both houses and family was extremely interesting. Also for all the time she spent with us just made us feel part of the family throughout our stay.
From the lunch when we arrived, the dinner Tuesday evening and the breakfast on Wednesday morning were all excellent. The time downstairs in the casino was entertaining, although I wondered whether there was anything underhand going on when we learnt, at breakfast, that Cara was the winner on the Roulette table! Once again thank you for a wonderful time.
