Accommodation – Where shall we stay?

26th Oct 2020

When all the details of your big day are finally planned and all the vendors have been booked, the next most important thing to think about is where will all your guests stay?

At Birdsall House, we have six luxury rooms so your closest family and friends can be around to celebrate with you from morning through to the next day. All of our rooms were renovated back in 2017 so are completely up-to-date, modern and stylish, the perfect places to start and end your day.

Described as a “makeover masterclass” by the Sunday Times, we offer beautiful, charismatic rooms with top of the range linens and toiletries so you can relax and enjoy the space and tranquillity Birdsall has to offer.

If you’re wanting more guests to be able to make the most of your wedding day, the recently restored and exceptionally beautiful Langton Hall offer stunning properties and holiday cottages to rent, right in the heart of the estate. There’s the option for 12-13 guests to stay in the Main Hall or North Wing of the house, both compromising of large family kitchens, dining rooms, access to the terraces and even snooker rooms and a lounge for your guests to relax.

If your guests would prefer something a little more private, Langton Hall offers four separate cottages, some of which are able to accommodate up to 10 guests at a time. These historical cottages are filled with plenty of character and offer guests their own living rooms and kitchens, en-suite bathrooms and glazed doors that open on to a private patio and lawn with tables and chairs.

More information about each room and prices are here. If you’d like to know a bit more about the history and restoration of Langton hall, please follow this link here.

For guests who may wish to make a weekend or a holiday of it, there are plenty of wonderful hotels, restaurants, quaint little shops and independent food traders – it is Yorkshire’s Food Capital after all! Enjoy the charm of Market Street and take in all the wonderful sights, sounds and smells Malton has to offer. If you’d like to explore further, why not take a trip to York, only a short drive away.
