Malton is the nearest train station to Birdsall and York is the closest major train station. Taxis are also available from both stations but should be booked in advance. There is very little mobile phone reception at Birdsall so please book taxi’s in advance of arrival and departure.

Our nearest airports are Leeds Bradford and Humberside Airport. Larger airports for long haul flights are Manchester and Newcastle. Private aircraft can arrive at Leeds East Airport which can deal with European flights and passport control. Helicopters can land at Birdsall House and we can give pilots landing information.
