We are so excited to be partnering with two experts of their field this autumn for some exclusive and totally different events. Not only do these promise to be inspiring, entertaining and fun, but they also give you the chance to experience the house and The Old Kitchens; something usually only possible as an invited guest of a private event. Whether you have a passion for all things interiors or love fine dining in an extraordinary setting, there’s something for you.

Interior design workhshop

As summer comes to a close and you consider spending more time in your home, we are joining forces with Interior Designer, Isobel Star, for an exclusive interiors workshop this September. Isobel is known for her love of colour, heritage and designing for all the senses.  Her practised eye can reveal the beauty in any space. Her wealth of knowledge and passion for relaxed and time-honoured homemaking makes this an exciting opportunity to get first-hand insights into her tips and secrets to a beautiful and blissful home.

Isobel shares our love of mixing old and new in interior design.

The workshop will cover how to:

  • Build Happiness, Wellness and Personality into your Interior
  • Choose colour and lighting for Energy, Mood and Ambience
  • Create a home that delights all the senses

As well as outlining the creative process and the framework for undertaking an interior design project, each ticket holder will receive their own workbook. This will support the content of the workshop and  enable each guest to reinforce their learning.

Wednesday 18th September

10:30am – 2:30pm

Includes lunch, workbook and goody bag.

Book here.

Tasting event

Then as we head into the midst of Autumn we’re excited to be teaming up with Alex Motture, Chef and Founder of The Pickled Fork. Alex has established a sought-after status in London, catering for clients including Chanel, Dior, Alexander McQueen and James Purdey.

He’ll be creating an exciting culinary experience for us here at Birdsall on Friday 11th October. Staying true to his values of using the most sustainable, locally sourced ingredients his main course will feature Venison from the Birdsall Estate.

As The Old Kitchens is primarily used for private event hire, this is a rare opportunity to experience a night out in our new events space. It will be an evening of dining like no other with tickets limited to a maximum of 40.

Please join us for a fabulous gastronomic feast and bring some foodie friends to join the fun.
