Rachel and Matt really injected their personality into their wedding and the smiles in their photos from Anoif Photography say it all – everyone there was having fun from start to finish, suppliers and ourselves included!
Rachel and her friends used our luxury, recently renovated bedrooms to get ready. Fiona, from Anoif Photography explained: “The bond between these girlfriends was a joy to capture as they got ready together in the magnificent bridal suite at Birdsall House; there was tears, chatter and laughter- a lot of laughter!!”
Rachel and Matt got married in St Mary’s Church within our grounds. While we have a civil ceremony license for non-religious ceremonies within the house and grounds, we love that this is also an option for couples, especially those with a connection to the area.
The September wedding meant that it wasn’t too hot or too cold and the newly-weds could make time for their guests outside the Church after the ceremony, some were cuter than others!
After a few romantic photographs in our grounds, the couple arrived at the house, where guests were waiting, and everyone enjoyed canapes from Hog and Apple amongst our Twelfth Century Ruins.
After that it was time for the wedding breakfast in our ballroom. Rachel and Matt made the BEST entrance through our Oval room!
Dancing continued well into the night in a beautiful marquee within our grounds from Frame and Tailor. Danny from McFly, a friend of Rachel and Matt’s, even gave a special performance.
We will never forget this super-fun wedding! Thank you to Rachel, Matt and Anoif Photography for allowing us to share these beautiful wedding album. To find out more about hosting your special day here, contact us.
